Keynote Presentation:     Mr Stephen Pearson, Chief Information Officer
The Chief Information Officer (CIO) The Defence CIO is accountable to the Secretary of Defence and the Chief of the Defence Force to set the strategic ICT direction for the entire portfolio. The mandate of the CIO is to provide a modern, secure, sustainable and scalable Single Information Environment (SIE) to enable ADF operations and support Defence business. The SIE is expansive; it includes Defence’s computing networks, cyber security capability, military and business applications and the data that they generate and carry, as well as the strategic communications and spectrum required for warfighting networks. The authority of the CIO encompasses all aspects of the SIE capability management including strategy, planning, prioritisation, development, implementation and support.

CIOG Panel Discussion and Q&A:
          Mr Jeff Goedecke, First Assistant Secretary, ICT Service Delivery and Reform:

FAS ICT Service Delivery and Reform (ICTSDR) is responsible for managing enterprise ICT business operations, encapsulating governance, risk, performance, budget, strategic workforce and commercial capabilities. He leads the enterprise ICT transformation program, and oversights Group performance.

          Mr Justin Keefe, Chief Technology Officer:
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is responsible for the Defence ICT architecture and delivering ICT systems and applications in line with Defence's corporate goals and strategies. The CTO also provides guidance and support to Defence on projects of strategic significance, promoting technology awareness and competence throughout the organisation and ensuring applications are built and integrated in line with CIOG's architecture for applications, infrastructure, and information.

          Mr Peter Alexander, First Assistant Secretary, ICT Delivery:
The FAS ICT Delivery (ICTD) is responsible for the delivery of new and enhanced business solutions into the Defence Single Information Environment through program, project and service management.

          Mr Chris Dale, Acting Program Director, Enterprise Resource Planning (PDERP):
The PDERP is accountable for the delivery and sustainment of the Defence Enterprise Resource Planning Program.  The Defence ERP Program is a key enabler of the Defence transformation strategy, changing in the way Defence undertakes its business by delivering into service the full suite of capabilities available in the SAP Defence & Security Solution.

Meals: The meals provided at our functions are gluten free, either beef lamb or chicken (ie without pork or seafood). A vegetarian option is available. Please let us know in advance, preferably at time of booking if you require a vegetarian meal. We cannot guarantee all types of meal requests can be meet. We cannot provide an alternate option if only requested on the day.

Cancellations: Registrations are refundable for cancellations received up to COB three working days before the event, less a $25.00 Administration Fee; however you may substitute another delegate from your organisation at no additional fee. No refunds can be issued after that date - No cancellations possible for confirmed sponsorship bookings.

C3i reserves the right to reschedule an event, however as much notice as possible will be given. If you have already registered and paid, we will contact you re your ability to attend on the new date, and refund your payment if necessary.
